Blinds in QuintonKeep the view.Soften the light.

A window is never just a size. It is the morning that arrives through it, the afternoon that pours across the carpet, the evening when the lamps go on and the glass turns into a mirror. Before we open the sample bag on a Quinton visit, we ask you to tell us about those hours, because the right blind is the one that suits the way the light moves through your day.

Then we measure, slowly and properly, every window you want to cover. We note the depth of each recess, where the handles sit and how the window opens. Samples are held up to the glass rather than spread on a table, so you can see how a sheer turns honey-coloured at sunset or how a slat throws stripes across the wall.

You are left with a written quote and as much time as you need. If a fitted bundle suits your windows, it will be clearly marked. If it does not, every blind is priced individually so nothing is hidden. Some people decide on the spot; others take a week. Both are fine.
