Vertical Blinds in Quinton
£994 vertical blinds fitted
Each blind up to 1 metre wide × 1 metre drop.
Think of vertical blinds as a way of editing a wide view rather than hiding it. In a Quinton lounge with a broad window or a garden door, the louvres can be turned just enough to take the edge off a low sun while the garden stays in sight. Four fitted for £99 is an easy introduction on windows within the bundle size.

Fitting vertical blinds in Quinton homes
Before choosing a fabric, spend a day noticing when the window bothers you. If the problem is a single hour of dazzle in late afternoon, a light, translucent louvre angled away from the sun may be all you need. If the problem is being seen from outside after dark, you will want a denser weave and to check it with a lamp on behind it. A cloudy day can mislead, so we sometimes suggest leaving a sample louvre taped to the frame and checking it again at sunset.
Verticals open in three ways: drawing to the left, to the right, or parting from the centre. A centre split frames a view symmetrically and suits a window with a focal point in the middle. A one-sided draw keeps a door clear. We sketch the window during the visit and mark which way the louvres will travel before anything is ordered.
Fabric louvres hang more softly; PVC louvres are stiffer and can be wiped down, which is helpful near a back door where muddy paws and garden hands come and go. Both turn on the same headrail, so the decision is about texture and upkeep rather than function.
A vertical blind leaves a stacked bundle at the side when fully open. On a narrow wall beside a window that bundle can look heavy, so we may suggest extending the headrail past the frame so the louvres park against the wall rather than over the glass. It is a small change that keeps more of the view.
The four-for-£99 bundle covers blinds up to 1 metre wide by 1 metre drop each. Wider windows and doors are measured and quoted on their own, and the louvre fabrics included in the bundle are confirmed with samples when we visit, so you choose from what is actually on offer.

Questions and answers
Can vertical blinds part in the middle?
Yes. Louvres can draw left, right or split from the centre. We mark the direction during the visit.
Are PVC louvres easier to clean?
PVC louvres can be wiped down, which helps near a back door. Fabric louvres hang more softly.
Does the bundle include wide windows?
Only blinds up to 1 metre wide by 1 metre drop each. Wider windows are quoted separately.
